Consular Services

The general task of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and embassies is to provide consular services, i.e. advice and assistance in various situations. Our services are based on Estonian regulations and the applicable consular law and are uniform and legally secure regardless of which country you are in. Circumstances and regulations may vary from country to country and affect the conditions under which we perform our mission.

Estonia has honorary consulates in 81 countries, a total of 191 consuls are active worldwide, the Estonian Honorary Consulate in Hesse with Astrid von der Malsburg is also in 2023 among the top 10 honorary consuls with the most tasks.
